A christening dress made by Helena was donated to the National Museum in Bloemfontein.

Their bed, which allegedly travelled with the Le Roux family in an ox wagon from the Cape Colony, is currently in Alexander Polson's possession.

In 1852 they settled on the farm Kaalplaats, district Winburg, Free State.^[1]
